Invent crew chosen for Elgin Town Corridor revamp
A crew led by LDN Architects has been awarded the invent contract as segment of the £31.6m Cultural Quarter venture of the Moray Train Deal.
Elgin Town Corridor is Moray’s biggest performing arts and events apartment. The proposed redevelopment will red meat up circulation, acoustic separation, technical and customer facilities and add a brand unusual multi-instruct studio apartment, whereas bettering environmental performance.
LDN Architects will lead a crew including Narro (structural and civil engineers), Harley Haddow (constructing products and services engineer), Ironside Farrar (landscape architect), CharcoalBlue (theatre consultant), Sandy Brown (acoustic consultant) and OFR (fire engineer).
Planned funding from every the Scottish and UK governments, to boot to Highlands & Islands Enterprise and Moray Council, is enabling the redevelopment of key sites in Elgin – “to form a linked, accessible and inspirational centre intellectual a steady-weight on the home’s distinctive cultural offering,” according to the council.
